OUR STORY

The ideas for Hope City Church began a few years ago in a ministry called the Well. Eventually, those ideas led to a Sunday night prayer meeting, at a home on Zero Road. A group of about 15 people gathered to prayer over the city of Meridian and the surrounding region twice a month starting in April 2019. In the early days, we simply wanted to know God’s heart for our city and our lives. Hope City was born out of those prayer meetings. We launched Hope City Church in March 2021, almost a full two years after we started praying. We haven’t moved from the prayer meetings to church services. We are a community of believers who gather to pray and minister to Jesus on a weekly basis. This will always be who we are.
